Introducing: Amelia the Archaeologist
An introduction video of Amelia the Archaeologist
⚒
I’ve been gaining new followers lately (thank YOU so much!) so, I thought I’d post a video elaborating on my reasons for this account and who I am!
Without you all and your support, this account wouldn’t be as successful!

Edited to add:
Most of you are asking me about my deafness and my educational background. I apologize for not adding enough about myself!
I was born deaf and raised by two deaf parents in Maryland. I also have a hearing younger brother (B.A. Geography) whom is now an ASL Interpreter for @zvrs / @purplecomm .
I attended Maryland School for the Deaf (@msdorioles) from 3 years old to 18, afterwards I went to Gallaudet University (a deaf-centric University!) and graduated with a B.A. in Art History.
Fun fact: both my deaf parents also attended and graduated from @gallaudetu !
Another fun fact: I was the last person to graduate with a B.A. in Art History from Gallaudet!
I had internships with several museums before enrolling into the graduate program at @txstateanthro.
Since my 2017 graduation, I’ve continued to work in museums/archaeology, which eventually led me to my current employment position! ☺️
